The cloud of doubt and despair has given way to bright blue skies for one of our age eligible college recruits. One month ago she suffered a major blow to her dreams of not only competing at the collegiate level but also of having her education paid for.
Instead of wallowing in self misery she set a course to erase a bad situation from the picture. In turn she has rehabilitated a dislocated elbow in what Dr Nassar calls the fastest recovery ever. Her efforts were noticed and the reward was a full ride athletic scholarship offer to Western Michigan University. What college program wouldn’t want a kid with the grit and determination to persevere through adversity. Combine that with talent and you have a blue chip recruit. Brittany Aragon accepted the offer!
Congratulations to Brittany, her parents Freddy and Lisa Aragon of Burton, Michigan and the Western Michigan Bronco’s. Brittany, who will join the Bronco’s in the fall of 2013, is a junior and 2011 Level 10 National Qualifier. The smile on her face these past couple weeks has been priceless and we could not be happier for her!
